About Pagham Angling Club

The Angling section of Pagham Yacht Club is known as Pagham Sea Angling Club and is affiliated to the Angling Trust (formerly The NFSA) and the Conger Club. Anglers are full members of Pagham Yacht Club.

The angling programme caters mainly for boats up to 16ft using suitably modified trailers to traverse the shingle beach and recovery is by winch. Competitions are held throughout the year and charter trips organised. There is also an annual away trip.

Pagham Yacht Club is situated on the South Coast between Selsey Bill and Bognor Regis in an area of outstanding natural beauty. The water is clean and accessible at all states of the tide. Launching and recovery is possible 24 hours a day, except in the worst of weather conditions.

The club was founded in 1964 and today has a membership of 200+. The membership includes sailors, windsurfers, anglers and social members. The clubhouse includes a bar, small lounge (non-smoking), galley, showers and changing rooms. We have direct access on to the beach with a patio area, which on a warm summer's day gives magnificent views right along the coast.
